I love this community and believe our schools are the heart of it.
To me, every student, teacher, and staff member of CCISD
is family—and family deserves the best.
I understand the legacy of world-class education that CCISD has established and am passionate about ensuring
every classroom is a place of opportunity,
every educator is supported, and
every child is given the tools to thrive.
Thank you for your support.
As a parent of a student who attended CCISD from kindergarten through 12th grade, I know the challenges and decisions families face.
I have also lived in the Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD) for the past 35 years and have seen the foundation CCISD provides for students, giving students the skills and creating the opportunities they need, no matter where their journey takes them.
Here is a list of resources with election and voting information you may find helpful.
My son, Trent, is a proud graduate of Clear Lake High school and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in International Affairs at the Bush School at Texas A & M. I want to advocate for public education, support our great teachers and staff, and ensure every student receives the same well-rounded education my son did.
have spent time as a volunteer engaging in both school district and community initiatives. I am fortunate to have served on the Citizen Advisory Committee and the Clear Creek Education Foundation Board and Executive Board within the district, among other roles.
In the larger community I have served as Chairman of the Board for the Clear Lake, Friendswood, League City and South Belt-Ellington Chamber of Commerce Boards, along with volunteering as the President of the Galveston County Aggie Moms Club and the Treasurer of the San Jacinto College Foundation Board.
As part of my job at Memorial Herman, I often travel to Austin during legislative sessions to advocate for health care. Through this I have gained a thorough understanding of the advocacy process and how to effectively champion important issues.
